Summary of position:

Reporting to the VP, Digital Marketing and Ecommerce, the Senior Manager, will be directly responsible for our consumer websites primarily The role will oversee the technical, operational, digital marketing, messaging, and merchandising of the websites. With the support of a Web Specialist and external support partners, the Senior Manager will aggressively drive the growth of our consumer business while elevating our web presence and clearly communicating our brand equity to the consumer. This role will work closely with IT, Operations, Customer Service, and Retail Content Manager to ensure an exceptional experience for consumers when engaging with our ecommerce platform. The Senior Manager will also partner with our National Account Manager to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all consumer facing digital platforms. Key directive will be to drive growth and profitability. Direct report – Web Specialist.



Drive aggressive top line sales growth of our brand site while focusing on profitable growth.

Responsible for managing the website and digital marketing budget/expenses.

Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, & Operations teams to ensure that our shipping, packaging, and product offering are consumer friendly and streamlined for efficiently and cost savings.

Management of platform, system integration partner, and all development projects.

Work with IT and operations team to ensure best user experience for consumer at all touch points.

Leverage consumer behavior intelligence and measure performance to drive online sales, operating profit and market share of Ecommerce business.

Responsible for updating the team and retail business unit on site performance, industry initiatives/trends, new technologies and process enhancements through benchmarking and best practices research.

Partner with finance team to provide P&L and sales reporting and analysis to leadership.

Oversee digital marketing for and manage external vendors. Including PPC, SEO, Email, and Display. Manage and grow consumer database.

Test and grow new digital marketing channels. Oversee all digital marketing vendors and their performance.

Responsible for the updating the consumer Marketing messaging calendar. Provides direction to the creative on digital asset needs to ensure site and digital marketing are on brand/message. Provide creative brief and email direction to content and design teams.

Partner with the VP Ecommerce, Brand Marketing, and National Sales Account Manager on promotion strategies to ensure channel growth.

Responsible for aligning with Manager of Consumer Service to ensure site contains necessary safety and usage information. Responsible for improving customer service section on website to reduce calls and emails to our customer service team.

Manage, Report, & Analyze Ecommerce sales and digital marketing performance.

Engage Web Specialist to report out on promotional and product performance.

Align with National Sales Account Manager and Web Specialist on pricing and product strategy for the Ecommerce channel.

Work with the Brand Marketing to support new product growth.

Oversee team to ensure product profitability, in stock availability, and identify areas of opportunity. Ensure product secured for Oneida, Anchor Hocking, and additional brand lines.



  • Ideally they have experience managing ecommerce web sites (not just content sites).
  • Someone that has experience with Magento (Enterprise version).
  • Digital Marketing Management is also helpful.
  • Experience with Email, Content, and Promotional planning is a plus.
  • Strong technical background - including experience working for an ecommerce platform, system integrator, or management of a development team.
  • Management of teams
  • 5+ years Ecommerce experience managing operational, development, user experience, and creative.
  • Bachelors in Marketing or specifically Interactive/Internet Marketing required.
  • Position located at Corporate Headquarters.
