Role Title: Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI) Manager
The Oneida Group is a leading global marketer of tabletop and food preparation products for the consumer and foodservice markets. With a comprehensive line of tabletop and food preparation products, we market our products globally under a broad range of consumer brands including Oneida and Anchor Hocking. Customers range from Fortune 500 companies to medium and small-sized companies in the consumer, foodservice, business-to-business and e-commerce channels. The company operates two glass manufacturing plants in the U.S. and sources a variety of propriety designed tableware products.

- Project management: Manage delivery of the specific project deliverables (as defined in the project charter) at sites and/or clients assigned to the SP2, within allotted timeframes and within the agreed project budgets.
- Develop strong relationships with key client management at operational and (in ES clients in particular) senior levels.
- Support Managing Practitioners and CSMs in client reviews.
- Identify, and articulate the case for, on-selling opportunities at designated sites and/or clients.

.Lead (or, where more appropriate, contribute to) key client meetings
.Coach senior client personnel and achieve 'trusted advisor/partner' status
.Manage formal and informal links between the project steering group and the project team
.Liaise with internal and external consultants to maintain knowledge capture and appropriately escalate processes, concerns and opportunities
.Communicate the RCI vision, objectives and priorities of the project
.Conduct scoping activities to define the resource and timeframes required for project plans and charters
.Develop (and monitor adherence to) project work-plan(s) for designated sites(s); revise as required
.Priorities, schedule and delegate tasks (to RCI and client personnel) to ensure successful project delivery
.Ensure consistency and standardization across all client sites and that the correct methodologies are being applied/followed
.Ensure adherence to any specific/agreed project management methodologies as required by the client
.Provide guidance and focus to support site teams to achieve overall objectives (including KPIs, client capability, knowledge transfer)
.Undertake detailed periodic reviews challenging the insights, conclusions and recommendations from site team(s)
.Review and sign-off all diagnostics, reports and deliverables. Ensure all project delivery/management activities meet Right First Time standards, with deliverables submitted in a timely manner to allow correct sign off and approval
.Manage practitioner utilization levels to achieve required balance and budgetary targets
.Ensure projects are managed in line with Risk Management procedures; proactively seek/manage risk-related issues on the project
.Monitor and track benefit-realization with operational/financial representatives from the client; gain client sign-off on benefit realization
.Ensure that a robust, articulate and compelling case study is prepared upon project completion
.Ensure adherence to RCI governance and gateway reviews
.Contribute to account management and internal relationship development activities, especially with clients in the ES segment
.Identify additional consulting (on-sell) opportunities at designated clients and articulate the business case(s) for such opportunities
.Participate in scoping and proposal development activities for new-engagement opportunities (in existing or potential sites/clients)
.Contribute to practice development activities (e.g. best-practice development, talent management, proposition development etc.)
.Ensure that project-appraisals for all project staff are completed in a timely manner
.Invest time in the development of practitioners; support their development needs and communicate their achievements
.Share best practice to support the development of the RCI methodology
.Show commitment to personal continuous professional development; maintain own personal development portfolio and actively develop own skills and competencies to support (i) client engagement and practice development and (ii) personal career progression
- Extensive previous experience in Lean/Operations roles
- Track record of (successfully) Lean/Six Sigma projects/sites wide implementations
- Track record of developing People and operational teams
- Able to travel anywhere within the TOG locations as required
